Onyxia's Lair

The Broodmother returns as a 40-player raid in Dustwallow Marsh. Three phases, fire resistance advised.

  • Whole-guild event: everyone at 60 gets a spot
  • Fire resistance for tanks first
  • Ranged phase two, fear phase three

The Outfit's road to December 9

  1. Weeks 1–3: hit 60 together. Level in small groups along the same route and use the new dungeons as XP checkpoints.
  2. Weeks 3–5: pre-raid gear. Run Blackmaw Hold and Shaper's Terrace as a team for blues, reputation and crafting materials. Stock fire resistance for Onyxia.
  3. Barrow Deeps first. A 10-player raid with eight bosses means one tank pair, two or three healers and five or six damage dealers. That is our first fixed roster.
  4. Then Hyjal Summit. Twenty players, thirteen bosses at Nordrassil. We grow the core to two full groups.
  5. Onyxia for the whole guild. Forty players, three phases, fire resistance advised. Everyone at 60 gets a spot.
