The Drowned City
A troll city has risen out of the ocean off the Stranglethorn coast. Trolls and naga hold it, a pirate ship has crashed into it, and the entrance is underwater. Mist and rain build into a storm as you push toward the last boss.
What's going on here
The Drowned City was the playable dungeon on the BlizzCon show floor. A sunken troll city has risen off the Stranglethorn coast, trolls and naga are fighting over it and a pirate ship is wedged in the ruins. The weather shifts from mist to full storm as your group clears toward the final encounter.
Getting there
Under the water off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale, west of Grom'gol Base Camp. Swim down to the entrance; Undead can breathe longer and Shamans have Water Breathing.
Recommended group
One tank, one healer, three damage dealers. Bring at least one interrupt and one crowd-control option.
Bosses
Blizzard has kept the boss list and loot for the level 35-plus dungeons hidden until players clear them live. The Outfit will post the encounter list from our first clear.
Outfit tips
- Bring Water Breathing (Shaman), Elixirs of Water Breathing or an Undead friend for the swim.
- Naga casters and troll berserkers: assign one interrupt to each caster.
- Stranglethorn is a PvP hotspot on the PvP ruleset. Travel in your group.
- The storm effect is cosmetic but loud. Turn ambient sound down if you use voice chat.
