Excavation Site: Wetlands
A dig site above Whelgar's Excavation, near Thelgen Rock and Dun Algaz. Strange mist, lights on the horizon and Titan constructs guarding whatever the dwarves uncovered.
What's going on here
The dwarven dig in the Wetlands has gone wrong. A strange mist comes down from the mountains, lights flash above the ridge, and Titan constructs patrol what the excavators uncovered. The launch build has four encounters.
Getting there
Above Whelgar's Excavation in the Wetlands, near Thelgen Rock and Dun Algaz. Alliance players come from Menethil Harbor; Horde players from the Arathi Highlands or the Loch Modan road.
Recommended group
One tank, one healer, three damage dealers. Bring at least one interrupt and one crowd-control option.
Bosses
- Saltspine — Drops Glinteye Slippers.
- Shadetooth — Raptor boss. Drops Raptorclaw Greaves.
- Relic Guardian — Titan construct. Drops Ring of Power Regulation.
Loot worth chasing
- Raptorclaw Greaves for leather and mail wearers.
- Glinteye Slippers for casters.
- Ring of Power Regulation is a solid caster ring for the level.
Outfit tips
- Raptors come in packs. Tank with an AoE threat tool (Thunder Clap, Consecration, Swipe) or crowd control one.
- Titan constructs resist some magic; melee and Hunters do well here.
- The level range shifted between beta builds (26–31 to 24–29). Come at 26 or higher for a smooth run.
